​quartet dutemps is a quartet based in Lawrence, Kansas. Comprised of Madeline Echternacht (clarinet), Jacob Herling (violin), Zach Ward (cello), and Veerle Winkelmolen (piano), the group focuses on performing contemporary works and working with living composers. Formed in 2024, they have performed throughout Kansas and nationally. Notably, in July quartet dutemps travelled to New York City to premiere a new composition and perform at The Juilliard School for the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival. The 2026 season for quartet dutemps includes a concert program with the renowned singer Lucy Shelton, as well as upcoming community concerts, recitals, and Princeton Sound Kitchen!
